Hi Casters,

A few months ago, we launched *Elestrals Clash!* in Open Beta/Early Access on Steam, welcoming both long time Casters and brand-new players into the *Clash!* community. Your passion and feedback have already impacted development in numerous ways, and we’re deeply grateful to have you with us.

Transparently, our initial release missed the mark, and the game isn’t where we want it to be yet. We know we haven’t delivered the level of quality expected, and we’re sorry for the frustrations this has caused.

We remain fully committed to *Elestrals Clash!* as a project, and we’re still moving toward our goal of a **completely free-to-play digital experience** for the **Elestrals TCG**. Here’s how we’ll get there.

**First, the tutorial.**
*Clash!* should serve as an approachable, comprehensive way to learn the game on your own, with a clear, effective guide. We recognize that the original tutorial failed on this front, so we’re rebuilding it from the ground up.

The new tutorial will launch in multiple sections, each with new lessons, improved visuals, and even voiceover! The first several sections are undergoing multiple rounds of review and refinement and will be added to the game in our next major update on **October 1st, 2025**.

**Second, the cards.**
For our dedicated ladder grinders, we’ve learned a lot about the challenges of routinely adding new cards to the game, and we’ve heard your disappointment when new cards don’t make an impact.

We’re adjusting our approach. Future updates will focus on hand-picked groups of cards that function well together, either as a package or by enhancing the existing card pool to further optimize existing strategies. Our next update includes some Lifestream cards, and we can’t wait to see what new decks emerge!

We’re also implementing a **banlist** exclusive to *Clash!* to create more variety in ranked play. This list will change over time as the card pool expands, and will have more dynamic adjustments than the TCG banlist, so don’t be surprised if we experiment a bit. The first iteration won’t arrive until our next major update, so please *bear* with us. Once *Elestrals Clash!* is aligned with the physical TCG, the *Clash!* banlist will be updated to match the current bans and restrictions of Elestrals TCG.

**Finally, the development.**
Behind the scenes, we’re making changes to ensure *Clash!* stays fresh for Casters. Patches will no longer follow a strict two-week rhythm, but will slow down to focus on implementing larger, more meaningful updates, squashing bugs, and adding polish to deliver the truly high-quality experience our community deserves.

We also want to be clear that these steps forward still include our full release goals: a mobile version and 1:1 card parity with the physical game. We’re not ready to commit to a timeline yet, but we’ll share more as we get closer.
