We’re weeks away from the Elestrals Columbus Open on November 6th-8th! If you’re reading this article because you just watched the Columbus Details video, you’re in the right place. If you haven’t seen that video yet, check it out here:
This post will be your one-stop shop for all of the activities over the course of the weekend. Let’s start by going over the schedule from a high level so you know when and where you’ll need to be. Don’t worry, we’ll go into more detail!
SCHEDULE
Friday, November 6th
4pm - The event hall opens along with the Elestrals Shop, onsite vending, and pre-registration for the main event. Free “Slingers” matches and the Elestrals Awakened demo will be available, but no paid side events will run on Friday.
7pm - TRADE NIGHT!
7:30pm - Free “Super Casual” event begins.
11pm - Trade night concludes and hall closes.
Saturday, November 7th
8:30am - Hall opens. Registration for the main event opens, as does the Elestrals shop and onsite vending.
9:30am - Opening ceremony begins and registration for the main event closes. You must be registered by this time to play in the tournament.
10:00am - Main event begins! GOOD LUCK CASTERS!
11:00am - Paid side event queues and slingers queues open. Elestrals Awakened demo becomes available.
2:00pm - The premium Frostfall Quad Case event queue opens.
6:00pm - Main event concludes for the day (pending all 8 rounds of swiss have completed).
7pm - Elestrals Game Show!
8pm - Hall closes.
Sunday, November 8th
8:30am - Hall opens, as does the Elestrals shop and onsite vending. Top 16 players must arrive between 8:30am and 10:00am for deck checks and prep for the top cut rounds.
10am - Opening remarks. Top cut play begins immediately after. Paid side event queues open, including the queue for the premium Alchemy tournament. Slingers queues also open. Elestrals Awakened demo becomes available.
11am - Premium Alchemy tournament begins.
4pm - Closing ceremony. Hall closes after.
MAIN EVENT
The main event on Saturday begins promptly at 10am! This is only the second premier-level Snowshade event and we can’t wait to see the exciting decks that players come up with.

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
But there’s so much more besides the main event. We’ve got stuff to do all weekend long!!
- Our Divine Slinger queue will be available in the official Columbus App - you’ll be able to book a time to play against aDrive, ShadyPenguinn, and special guest Joey aka PokeaimMD!! And on Friday only, Kaycreigh and PKSparkxx will take challenges as well. PK’s divine will be revealed AT the event, so come play against him and be one of the first to see it in action!
- You’ll also be able to play against our hand-picked Spirit Slinger Ambassadors who will each rep an element. If you beat them, you get a free Columbus Spirit of that element!
- The Elestrals Awakened demo is available to try out! The dev team will be on site showing off the game and they’d love to talk with you about it.
- We’ll have a Pack Battle Booth where you can bring your own boxes and a friend to run some pack battles, record your pulls, and compete for Prize Wall tickets. If you pull big, you might end up on the Elestrals channel!
- And keep your eyes and ears open, because we’ll have pop-up Stellar Races throughout the weekend!
By the way, just as a bonus… if you pull a Stellar at the event at any time, bring it to the shop and we’ll give you a FREE box of Frostfall.
We’ll also have an awesome Trade Night right at the venue on Friday night at 7pm. Come by to hang out, pick up your badge goodies, make some trades, and play in our free Super Casual tournament at 7:30pm. This event is just like our webcam casuals with 30 minute best-of-1 rounds and a fixed 4 round duration, so it’ll be over in a couple hours. However, unlike normal events… CREATOR CARDS ARE LEGAL! If you’re a creator or a fan, bring those aDrives and ShadyPenguinns! There will be quite a few creators in the crowd - if you run into one of them, good luck! This event will reward prize wall tickets to ALL participants.
On Saturday night, we’ll have our first ever Elestrals GAME SHOW! As KG described in the video, the Elestrals Gammbit will divide the community into two teams - Team Heads and Team Tails. Pick your team and play the mini-game on the website before the event to give your team a head start, but the real magic happens on the stage. If you’re in the audience, you’ll get something no matter which team you’re on - and team representatives up on stage will play for super cool prizes!

SIDE EVENTS
Starting on Saturday, our queues will open up for paid side events in the official Columbus Open app. We’ll have four side events available.
ALCHEMY Premium Side Event
- 10am Sunday
- 32 person player cap. 4 rounds of best-of-3 swiss
- All participants receive 3 packs of Shattered Stars Alchemy and 200 event tickets
- Every win in the event rewards an additional 200 event tickets
- 2-2 players receive 3 additional packs of Shattered Stars Alchemy
- 3-1 players receive a Shattered Stars Alchemy ACK
- 4-0 players receive 2 Shattered Stars Alchemy ACKs
- Entry cost: $50
Frostfall Quad Case Premium Side Event
- Queue opens when round 5 of the main event begins (Expected 2:30pm Saturday)
- Fill and fire event - runs multiple times throughout the weekend
- 16 person player cap. 4 rounds of best-of-3 swiss
- All participants receive a box of Frostfall and 200 event tickets
- Every win in the event rewards an additional 200 event tickets
- 3-1 players receive a box of Frostfall
- 4-0 players receive 4 boxes of Frostfall
- Entry cost: $50
Snowshade Booster Draft
- Queue opens when round 2 of the main event begins (Expected 11:30am Saturday)
- Fill and fire event - runs multiple times throughout the weekend
- 8 person player cap. 3 rounds of best-of-3 swiss
- 4 packs of Snowshade per person are provided for the draft. Players keep the cards they draft
- All participants receive 100 event tickets
- Every win in the event rewards an additional 100 event tickets
- Entry cost: $20
Pandora’s Box Sealed
- Queue opens when round 2 of the main event begins (Expected 11:30am Saturday)
- Fill and fire event - runs multiple times throughout the weekend
- 4 person player cap. 2 rounds of best-of-3 swiss
- One Pandora’s Box is provided to each player to construct a deck. Players keep the cards they open
- All participants receive 100 event tickets
- Every win in the event rewards an additional 100 event tickets
- Entry cost: $40
