Elestrals 2027 Championship Series
The Elestrals Championship Series returns for year two! Starting on April 1, 2026, a new season begins our path towards the 2027 Elestrals World Championships. Just like our first season, players will have the chance to earn Qualifier Points through a combination of in-person play and online events, with the ultimate goal to qualify and compete in the 2027 World Championships. We welcome all Casters to try their hand at competing this season!
We have several Organized Play events at all levels of play, starting at the Casual level going all the way up to Premier. This article will focus on events that grant Qualifier Points, but there are many other opportunities to play Elestrals near you, including weekly in-store play and our own hosted weekly Webcam Casual Tournaments. We’ll have more information shared soon that will cover weekly play and in-store perks that’ll be linked right here when available.
How To Qualify
Casters will earn Qualifier Points (QP) by playing in competitive events throughout the season in specific sanctioned tournaments. By the end of the season, Casters that meet the Qualifier Points threshold will be qualified to play in the Elestrals World Championship. For those who played last season, this behaves very similarly to what you’re used to.
Points To Qualify: 250 QP
The following events are open to all players and provide Qualifier Points.
| Placement | Store Championships | Store/Event Opens | Online Premier | Elestrals Open |
| 1st - Champion | 75 QP | 250 QP (Invite) | 250 QP (Invite) | 250 QP (Invite) |

In addition, Set Celebration events will provide all players a flat total of 10 Qualifier Points to those who enter.
Store Championships notes
Store Championships (formerly known as Store Regionals) are the highest level competitive event that stores will routinely host every expansion. We’re adjusting the prizing for these events and adding some exciting promo cards - for Divine Champions: Sunstrike, a gem frame Windjinn Champion of Aeolu will be provided to all who enter, while the winner can earn a gem frame Tornadjinn Champion of Aeolus as well!

In addition to the name and prizing adjustment, we’re making some tweaks to the tournament structure. While we’ve been happy to see more stores hosting Store Championships, some regions have multiple stores in the same area that can enable players to earn unintended amounts of points during a short period of time. To account for this, if a player competes in multiple Store Championships during a season, they will only earn QP from one event (based on whichever event would grant the most points).
Players may still compete in as many events as they'd like to earn promo cards and aim for higher placements. At the end of the Store Championships window, Players will receive QP based on their highest finish across all their participated events. This restriction resets each season, allowing players to earn points from Store Championships once every expansion.
As an additional note, Store Championship events that have less than 4 players will award 10 QP to all entrants instead of the point totals listed above. Players are still welcome to enter and earn promo cards, but issued QP will be limited.
